Seiko 6138-0040 Bullhead
Movement : 6138 Automatic Handwind Chronograph.
Dial : Black with blue subdials and day/date display.

Strap : Aftermarket signed Seiko bracelet.

Description : The bullhead is a popular model among vintage Seiko collectors. It was one of my earlier vintage pieces when I started collecting. When I first got the Bullhead, it was not in this excellent condition as it is now. It had scratches on the case, dial and hands were dirty and bezel insert was badly scratched. Although I like such looks on vintage divers, I decided I don’t really like such a look on chronos. I then sent the watch to a watchmaker overseas and got him to do a service and to refurbish the watch to look as new as possible, keeping as many original parts where possible. I am quite happy with the results as you can see from the photos. Only complaint is the aftermarket bracelet is a rather cheap version. It does the job but I would recommend you to upgrade or get a leather or nato strap.
Price : SOLD. Went to a better place on 19 April 2012. Will be sorely missed.
